Welcome to Tivo ("we", "our", or "the App"). By accessing or using our language and video chat services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Tivo.
1. Eligibility and Age Restrictions
1.1 Age Requirement
- Tivo is intended solely for users aged 18 or older. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
1.2 Verification
- We may implement age verification measures to ensure compliance with age restrictions. Accounts found to belong to minors will be terminated.
1.3 Child Protection
- We have zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). Any content, behavior, or activity involving minors will be immediately reported to the authorities.
1.4 Responsibility
- Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising minors and ensuring they do not access Tivo.
2. Account Registration and Security
2.1 Account Information
- Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
2.2 Account Security
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Do not share passwords or account access.
2.3 Account Termination
- Tivo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, illegal activities, or security concerns.
2.4 Single Account
- Each user may only maintain one account. Multiple accounts for the same person are prohibited unless explicitly authorized.
3. User-Generated Content (UGC)
3.1 Content Ownership
- Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant Tivo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and use content to provide services.
3.2 Content Guidelines
- Content must comply with local laws and Tivo's policies. Prohibited content includes illegal material, harassment, hate speech, pornographic content, CSAE-related content, or other harmful materials.
3.3 Content Moderation
- Tivo reserves the right to review, moderate, remove, or block content that violates guidelines or laws. Users can report inappropriate content for review.
3.4 User Responsibility
- Users are solely responsible for the content they post, including any copyright, trademark, or third-party rights violations.
4. Payments, Virtual Goods, and Refunds
4.1 Payment Methods
- All in-App purchases, gifts, and paid features are processed via secure third-party providers. Tivo does not store full payment card information.
4.2 Virtual Goods
- Virtual items and gifts purchased in Tivo are for in-App use only and have no real-world cash value.
4.3 Refund Policy
- Payments are generally non-refundable. Refund requests will be evaluated case-by-case in accordance with applicable laws and third-party payment provider rules.
4.4 Dispute Resolution
- Users should contact Tivo support for any payment disputes. Tivo will investigate and resolve disputes in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.
5. Use of Services and Community Guidelines
5.1 Acceptable Use
- Users must use Tivo in a lawful, safe, and respectful manner. Prohibited behaviors include harassment, impersonation, spamming, or transmitting harmful content.
5.2 Video Chat Conduct
- Video interactions must be consensual. Recording, distributing, or sharing other users' video without permission is strictly prohibited.
5.3 Reporting Violations
- Users can report violations of community guidelines or suspicious activity via in-App reporting or contact email.
5.4 Enforcement
- Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of accounts.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
6.1 Data Collection
- We collect information necessary to provide our services, including account data, usage data, UGC, device data, and optional location information.
6.2 Data Use
- Collected data is used to operate the App, provide features, improve services, enable personalization, and ensure safety.
6.3 Third-Party Sharing
- Data may be shared with service providers, legal authorities, or business partners as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

- All content provided by Tivo, including app design, software, graphics, logos, text, audio, and videos, is owned or licensed by Tivo and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

- Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
7.3 Prohibited Use
- Users may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Tivo's content without explicit permission.

- Users can report suspected copyright or trademark infringement to Tivo via the contact email.
8. Security and Account Protection

- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their accounts and passwords. Sharing login credentials is prohibited.

- Tivo implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data and maintain platform security.

9. Termination and Suspension

- Accounts may be temporarily suspended for violating Terms, community guidelines, or engaging in illegal or unsafe activity.

- Accounts may be permanently terminated for repeated violations, illegal activity, or significant risk to the community.

- Upon termination, access to the App and user content may be revoked. Some information may be retained for legal, security, or operational reasons.
10. Disclaimers

- Tivo is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
10.2 No Endorsement
- Interactions with other users do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or verification by Tivo.
10.3 Accuracy of Content
- Tivo does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of user-generated content or third-party materials.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 General Limitation
- Tivo, its affiliates, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.
11.2 User Responsibility
- Users are responsible for their own interactions, content, and activities within the App.
11.3 Maximum Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, Tivo's total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount paid by the user for the relevant service.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

- These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Tivo operates, subject to international regulations as applicable.

- Users agree to first attempt resolution with Tivo support. Unresolved disputes may be resolved through arbitration or courts in accordance with governing law.

13. Community Conduct and Guidelines

- Impersonation, solicitation of sensitive information, illegal activities, or spamming other users are not allowed.

14. Real-Time Video Chat Rules
14.1 Consent Requirement
- All video interactions must be consensual. Recording or sharing another user's video without explicit consent is prohibited.
14.2 Safety Measures
- Users should avoid sharing sensitive personal information during live video calls. Tivo implements monitoring and reporting to maintain a safe environment.
14.3 Violation Response
- Reports of harassment, CSAE, or other prohibited behavior are investigated promptly. Accounts may be restricted or terminated.
15. Payments, Virtual Items, and Refunds (Extended)
15.1 Purchase Process
- Payments for virtual goods or subscriptions are processed via secure third-party providers. Users must follow the provider's instructions.
15.2 Virtual Items
- Virtual goods have no cash value and are non-transferable outside the App.
15.3 Refunds
- Refunds are generally not provided, except where required by law or third-party payment policies.
15.4 Dispute Resolution
- Payment-related disputes should first be submitted to Tivo support. If unresolved, disputes are handled according to applicable law.
